The Columbia Gorge Bluegrass Festival presents the first annual Stevenson's Barnstorming Bluegrass Concert and Dance, Saturday, April 13 in the Skamania County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.
The event opens with the Songwriter’s Showcase. All who write and perform original music are invited to take their talents to the stage. Participants will be judged by the audience, and the selected song will be spotlighted on the main stage at the Festival in July.
The event continues with live performances by bluegrass favorites- The Sleepy-Eyed Johns, Runaway Train, and The Bluegrass Regulators. Rounding out the show is a dance with the Buckles.
The highly entertaining band from Portland performs covers that range from classic country to rock n’ roll with their own honky-tonk twist. Tickets are on sale now at www.BrownPaper Tickets.com or available at the door. Limited camping is available.
