Order now for the 2014 SWCD native plant sale

Are you looking to add hardy, drought-tolerant native plants to your landscape? You’re in luck! Now is the time to place your order for the Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District native plant sale.

The sale features conifers, deciduous trees and shrubs — from sequoias to snowberry. These 1-2-year-old bare-root seedlings will not replace that towering oak overnight, but will over time. Invest in the future — as they say, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the next best time is now.

Check out the plant sale page on the Hood River SWCD’s website at hoodriverswcd.org to find out what is available this year. There’s also information on plant descriptions, suitability for various sites and wildlife usage.

To order, download the order form, fill it out completely, and mail it in with a check to the Hood River SWCD, 3007 Experiment Station Drive, Hood River, OR 97031.
