All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River Oct. 15-20.
Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:
Oct. 16 — Wasco Avenue — Officer took report of harassment and solution of controlled substances.
Oct. 18 — May Street — A juvenile was arrested on the charge of assault IV with a dangerous weapon and lodged at the NORCOR Juvenile Detention Center.
Oct. 19 — Hope Avenue — Three brothers (two adults and one juvenile) were arrested for assault IV felony, menacing and attempted assault II after the three were involved in a domestic altercation involving the destruction of a door and knives being used.
Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Oct. 17 — 18th Street at Cascade Avenue — Two Hood River juveniles were cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
Oct. 16 — Sherman Avenue, 800 block — Male reported someone had busted out the back window of his vehicle.
Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:
Oct. 16 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Officer took report of the passing of two fraudulent checks at a local business.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Oct. 15 — I-84 at milepost 63 — A resident of The Dalles was arrested for giving false information to a police officer and failure to carry and present. It was later discovered that the suspect also had an outstanding warrant out of Clark County.
Oct. 15 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Officer responded to a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of a local store. Information was exchanged and a juvenile driver was cited for driving without a license and no proof of insurance.
Oct. 16 — Oak Street at Ninth Street — Officer took report of a two-car non-injury motor vehicle crash.
Oct. 16 — Cascade Avenue at Oak Street — Officer took report of a non-injury motor vehicle crash.
Oct. 20 — E. Marina Drive, 1100 block — Officer responded to a hit-and-run call. The other party arrived shortly afterwards.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Oct. 16 — Industrial — A Hood River male was arrested for a violation of a restraining order and lodged at NORCOR. A female was cited and released for telephonic harassment.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
Oct. 16 — Third Street at Cascade Avenue — A Hood River male reported the window of his vehicle was broken and several items were stolen from within his vehicle.
Oct. 16 — State Street, 300 block — Hood River female reported items had been taken from her vehicle while parked.
Oct. 17 — Fourth Street, 100 block — Officer took report of the theft of a purse which occurred Sept. 14.
Oct. 19 — Cascade Avenue, 1800 block — A cell phone valued at $650 was reported stolen from a local store.
Oct. 20 — Westcliff Drive, 4000 block — Officer took report of theft and damage to a motor vehicle in the parking lot of a local hotel.
Oct. 20 — State Street, 200 block — The theft of several bikes was reported.
Oct. 16 — I-84 at milepost 63 — A hound mix dog ran across the freeway from north to south and struck the driver side rear near the tire. The dog’s owner soon arrived to retrieve the animal.
