Aug. 8 to 11

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Aug. 8 — E. Marina Drive, 1000 block — Male arrested for criminal trespass II, criminal mischief II, and disorderly conduct II. He refused to leave when asked by employees and damaged the drive-through window mechanism as police arrived.

Aug. 9 — Sherman Avenue, 2200 block — Officer dispatched to a vehicle that had its tires slashed and window broken out.

Aug. 9 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Hood River male arrested for criminal trespass I and lodged at NORCOR.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Aug. 10 — Hood River — Pickup truck stopped for a traffic violation. After contacting the female driver, the officer observed several signs of impairment. She consented to field sobriety tests and failed. She was arrested and given a chance to take a breath test, which she refused. She was cited and released to a friend. Location unavailable.

Aug. 11 — Hood River — A male from New York was arrested, cited and released for driving under the influence following a motor vehicle crash. Location unavailable.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Aug. 9 — Hood River — Hit and run reported. Location unavailable.

Aug. 10 — I-84, milepost unavailable — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash. The driver of the truck admitted to falling asleep and the wheel and colliding with the concrete barricade. The truck and trailer were subsequently towed due to damages.

Aug. 10 — Hood River — Hood River female stopped for a violation. Her driver’s license was suspended and she did not have insurance. The vehicle was towed. Location unavailable.

Aug. 11 — Cascade Avenue, 2000 block — Male contacted regarding a hit and run.

Aug. 11 — Cascade Avenue, 3400 block — A pickup truck backed into a parked motor vehicle and then left.

Aug. 11 — Cascade Avenue, 3300 block — Vehicle stopped for a traffic infraction and given a verbal warning. Officer later discovered the driver had provided a false name and date of birth.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Aug. 9 — State Street, 300 block — Theft reported.

Aug. 10 — 12th Street, 800 block — Hospital staff reported three intoxicated males stealing a wheelchair from the emergency room.

Other:

Aug. 9 — Second Street, 100 block — A Washington resident was cited and released for misrepresentation of age. The suspect used another person’s identification to go into a bar.

Aug. 10 — Hood River — Male reported the loss of a camera. Location unavailable.

Aug. 10 — 12th Street, 1700 block— iPhone 5c reported lost.
