Police Log, June 22 to July 5

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

June 22 — N. 15th Street — Washington resident contacted regarding a cold domestic assault.

July 2 — Cascade Avenue — Officer took report of harassment involving unwanted sexual language.

July 5 — Cascade Avenue — Male arrested for assault III.

July 5 — Ninth Street — Officers dispatched to a possible domestic situation.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

June 22 — E. Marina Drive, 1000 block — Portland resident arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, giving false info and a post-prison violation detainer, and lodged at NORCOR. The Portland resident was also cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

June 26 — Hood River — Female issued a citation for unlawful possession of marijuana after a consent search on during a traffic stop.

June 26 — Cascade Avenue, 2100 block — Underwood resident arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and lodged at NORCOR.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

June 22 — Railroad Street, 100 block — Damage reported to a dome car, which was entered.

June 28 — Oak Street, 1500 block — Hood River resident arrested for criminal mischief III and a probation violation.

July 2 — Railroad Street, 100 block — Damage reported to a rail car window.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

June 22 — E. Marina Drive, 1000 block — A Spokane resident was arrested on the charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The Spokane resident as also cited for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

June 26 — Hood River — White Salmon resident arrested on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and lodged at NORCOR.

June 27 — Hood River — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

June 27 — Underwood resident arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

June 28 — Hood River — Vancouver, Wash., resident arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

July 1 — Hood River — Utah male cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and released.

July 4 — Hood River — Vehicle stopped for speeding violation. After contacting the driver, the officer observed several signs of impairment. The driver contented to field sobriety tests where the officer confirmed impairment. He was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and refused a breath test. He was lodged at NORCOR.

July 5 — Hood River —Pasco resident arrested on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and lodged at NORCOR.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

June 29 — 24th Street, 400 block — Attempted ID theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

June 25 — Second Street, 200 block — Hit and run reported.

June 29 — 13th Street near Belmont Drive — Officer responded to a two car, non-injury motor vehicle crash.

July 1 — State Street near Second Street — Officer dispatched to a cold hit and run.

July 2 — Oak Avenue, 800 block — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash. Two occupants sustained injury, needing medical transport.

July 3 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — Officer responded to a non-injury traffic crash.

July 4 — Oak Street near Third Street — Officer responded to a two car, non-injury motor vehicle accident.

July 4 — Wasco Street, 1500 block — Hit and run reported.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

July 2 — Oak Street — Officer took report of possible restraining order violation.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

June 25 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Three males were arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, criminal mischief II and two counts of theft II.

June 27 — Cascade Avenue, 2200 block — Male cited and released for theft III.

June 29 — Sherman Street — Officer contacted a Calgary, Alberta resident regarding a stolen bicycle.

June 29 — Hood River — New Mexico resident reported the theft of his bicycle.

July 2 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Juvenile female cited and released for theft III.

July 2 — Brookside Drive, 1300 block — Theft reported.

July 2 — W. Cascade, 1800 block — Theft reported.

July 5 — Prospect Avenue, 2700 block — Theft from a front yard reported.

Other:

June 23 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Officer contacted a grocery store regarding some found property in the parking lot.

June 23 — E. Marina Drive, 900 block — Cell phone found.
