Police Log, April 12 to 24

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

April 19 — Oak Street — Officer started an investigation of physical abuse where the juvenile daughter alleged her mother had physically hit her.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

April 15 — E. Marina Drive, 1000 block — White Salmon resident lodged at NORCOR on the charge of possession of a schedule II and cited for unlawful possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

April 17 — Cascade Avenue, 3400 block — Hood River resident arrested and lodged at NORCOR on an outstanding warrant out of Washington State Department of Corrections. In addition, the resident was also charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and providing false information.

April 24 — I-84 at exit 64 — Officer issued citations for minor in possession of marijuana after investigating a traffic crash at the top of exit 62.

April 24 — Hood River — Male resident of The Dalles was lodged at NORCOR on the charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. In the same incident, a female resident of The Dalles was lodged at NORCOR on the charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a schedule II.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

April 12 — Nicholas Parkway, 0-100 block — Contractor reported vandalism to freshly poured concrete sidewalks at a building site.

April 22 — Prospect Avenue, 2200 block — Criminal mischief to a pickup truck reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

April 14 — Hood River — Male arrested and lodged for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

April 17 — Hood River — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

April 17 — Front Street, 0-100 block — Carson, Wash., female arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

April 17 — Hood River — Female arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

April 15 — 22nd Street, 1700 block — Officer took report of a possible fraud that occurred in Portland, Ore., and Longview, Wash.

April 20 — Second Street, 200 block — Attempted identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 13 — 12th Street, 800 block — Resident reported their car had been damaged while parked at a Heights business.

April 14 — 12th Street, 1000 block — Officer received an abandoned vehicle complaint.

April 14 — Hood River Toll Bridge — Hit and run reported.

April 15 — Oak Street — Hit and run reported. The suspect vehicle struck two parked cars and fled the scene.

April 17 — Hood River— Female arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, which was reported stolen in Wasco County. She was also charged with driving criminally.
