Police Log, April 12 to 24, part 2 of 2

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 18 — Oak Street, 0-100 block — Hit and run with significant property damage reported. It was later determined that a family member purposely hit another vehicle. The family member was arrested and lodged for a felony criminal mischief charge and failing to perform the duties of a driver.

April 18 — Hood River — Male arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended/revoked.

April 22 — Hood River — Driver stopped for speeding. The driver did not have insurance on the vehicle, and it was towed.

April 23 — Hood River — Washington male was stopped for defective lighting. The driver did not have insurance on the vehicle and it was subsequently towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

April 13 — A Street, 1700 block — Male arrested on an outstanding warrant.

April 14 — Hood River — Male arrested on a Municipal court warrant.

April 17 — Riverview Drive, 2500 block — Male cited and released on an outstanding warrant out of Multnomah County.

April 20 — Hood River — Male arrested for outstanding warrants.

April 21 — Cascade Avenue, 3600 block — Male arrested and lodged for violating the terms of his probation.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

April 12 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Theft reported.

April 14 — Railroad Street, 100 block — Theft of a commercial dump trailer reported.

April 16 — Eugene Street, 1700 block — Female reported the theft of her unsecured bicycle worth $1,300.

April 17 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Theft reported.

April 18 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 bock — Stolen cell phone reported.

April 19 — Montello Avenue, 0-100 block — Officer took report of a residence being burglarized and two bicycles and some chocolate macadamia nuts stolen.

April 21 — May Street, 1600 block — Theft reported.

April 21 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Male cited for shoplifting.

April 23 — W. Cascade Avenue, 2700 block — Washington male cited and released for theft III.

Other:

April 19 — May Street, 900 block — Suspicious bag reported.

April 19 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Bicycle found abandoned.

April 21 — May Street, 2800 block — Officer took possession of a hidden key for safekeeping.
