Kirkpatrick visits Waucoma
Waucoma Bookstore is hosting authors Jane Kirkpatrick and Rebecca Demarino for a book signing on Friday, Sept. 2, from 5-8 p.m. at the bookstore (212 Oak St., Hood River). Kirkpatrick will be signing her new historical fiction book “This Road We Traveled.” Based on actual events, “This Road We Traveled” is the story of Tabitha Moffat Brown and how she came to be named by the Oregon legislature as “the Mother of Oregon.” It is also the story of three generations of women who crossed from Missouri to Oregon on the Oregon Trail. Demarino will be signing her new book “To Follow Her Heart,” the third book in the Southold Chronicles series.
