Police Log, Dec. 21 to Jan. 3

All calls were responded to within the City of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Dec. 27 — Cascade Avenue — Bend resident arrested for assault after causing physical harm to a Madras resident while at a local bar. The male subject was lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 27 — Westcliff Drive — Male arrested for assault IV and menacing.

Dec. 27 — Sieverkropp Drive — Hood River resident arrested for domestic assault IV and domestic violence harassment, and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 1 — Hood River — Transient arrested for harassment after slapping his girlfriend in the face, and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 3 — Hope Avenue — Male arrested for domestic felony assault and harassment, and lodged at NORCOR. The two victims were his children, who attempted to keep him from driving while intoxicated.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Dec. 26 — Hood River — Portland resident arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and lodged at NORCOR.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Dec. 21 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Juvenile male cited for trespassing.

Dec. 27 — Cascade Avenue — Male arrested for trespass and disorderly conduct.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Dec. 21 — Hood River — Auburn, Wash., resident arrested and lodged at NORCOR on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Dec. 29 — Hood River — Goldendale resident arrested on the charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and lodged at NORCOR. During the same incident, a second Goldendale resident was arrested on the charge of unlawful delivery of marijuana, and also lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 1 — Bonneville Drive, 3200 block — Washington female arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 2 — Hood River — Hood River resident arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Dec. 21 — Oak Street, 300 block — Hit and run reported. The owner of the victim car was not present at the time, but a witness observed the incident.

Dec. 22 — 13th and Belmont — Two vehicle crash reported.

Dec. 30 — Sherman Avenue — Hit and run reported.

Dec. 31 — Hood River — Washington male was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. Driver was cited for driving uninsured and having no operator’s license. With no valid driver, the car was towed.

Jan. 3 — I-84 at milepost 64 — Single vehicle crash reported. Passenger complained of pain and medical was summoned. Vehicle was too damaged to be driven and was towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Dec. 21 — Hood River — Male arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Dec. 23 — Eugene Street, 2700 block — Hood River resident arrested for three counts of harassment and a parole violation.

Dec. 24 — 12th Street, 800 block — Male arrested for a parole violation.

Dec. 25 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — Portland resident arrested on two valid Lake Oswego warrants.

Dec. 26 — Oak Street — Male arrested for a restraining order violation and outstanding warrant out of Yakima.

Dec. 30 — Hood River — Hood River male arrested on a probation violation warrant.

Jan. 1 — Hood River — Male arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Dec. 27 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Theft reported.

Dec. 29 — Hull Street, 1000 block — Theft reported.

Dec. 29 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Juvenile female cited for shoplifting. She was released to her parents.

Other:

Dec. 21 — Rand Road — Female reported missing. She had not been seen since Nov. 24.

Jan. 1 — Fourth Street, 0-100 block — Female transported to the hospital after falling and hitting her head while dancing.

Jan. 1 — 12th Street — Found personal check turned in to police officer.

Jan. 1 — Serpentine Drive, 300 block — Officer picked up a wallet that was found near the Indian Creek Trail.
