A new place for Art in the Gorge! WildCraft Studio School opens in June, offering a range of classes where the practices of art, design, craft and farming can live side by side. We are starting our Summer Series with a course on screenprinting, moving onto classes in drawing, painting, textile design, weaving, natural dyes and herbal medicin. The classes we choose to offer strive to embody the goal of bringing nature to studio work, aesthetics to the garden, and design-thinking to all projects. Through this integrated curriculum, we hope to dissolve the divisions that exist between art and everyday life.
The WildCraft studio is nestled in the hills above White Salmon, WA, 10 minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from Hood River and 90 minutes from Portland, OR.
We have a screenprinting shop, knitting machines, clay tables/kiln, large medicinal/dye/veggie garden….space to draw, think, write and meet new friends.
