oh my gosh!! I wish people would quit coming up to our peaceful little town's up here in the gorge and committing these horrible crimes.
Obviously from the sounds of the meeting my husband went to -The planning commission are going to approve it and there is nothing we can do about it. They refused to hear certain things that residents were saying. which speaks volumes to me. I'm just concerned about the traffic congestion it will cause and noise ordinance.
The him is the guy they said in the report. Says 30 year old male in the news article. Also you should know the percentage of false claims in a sexual assault is around 2-10%. why do you assume they are lying? just because they are a teen?
I hope they find him soon. Scary to have someone loose doing that in a small town. Praying the police find him soon.
Congratulations Breezy!! awesome Job
I so will not be voting for these guys this next voting season. The minimum wage offered now doesn't provide for family's and makes people a part of the working poor. The orchard people I know around here make plenty of money to pay that and usually do already on their own. We need a working wage around here in Hood River.
sad and tragic for all involved. you do realize you're calling the victim a liar though. They must have had enough evidence to hold him on $100,000 bail and they don't usually do that unless there is significant evidence. The fact that he died before there was any trial just leaves the victim without answers and unable to confront their attacker. Really sad all around.
my honey is a good loyal worker
Congratulations making the front page Honey
really mature response shadowjade.
shadowjade-pretty inconsiderate statement to make since my husband was born and raised here and lived here his whole life and DOES NOT agree with the project. For one , traffic being a major concern , about 3,000 to 5,000 cars during any given day in summer. or the fact that they have no plumbing and would need an abundance of porta potties. imagine that smell. now try to imagine its on your street or down off a street you live on and you had no say about it . My guess is you wouldn't like it either. try to be a little more considerate of the citizens that will have to deal with this project in their faces all summer/spring long.
